How To Break Out of A Creative Rut
Somewhere in my childhood, I came to the conclusion that I was not creative. The reason? Despite my longing and best efforts, I couldn’t draw or paint to save my life. Sadly, I stayed with this notion until a few years ago, when I discovered that every human being is born creative.
Let me repeat that – every human being is born creative. Get it? You, my friend, are born creative. You stay creative. How you learn to express that creativity is up to you.
The reason you taken to writing and blogging is that you are creative. So no confusion there.
It is possible to get caught up with expressing our creativity in only one way. We wrote in a particular style. It was appreciated. We start to think that no other style will work.
