No, don’t answer that.
Because, seriously, who’d answer NO to that question?
So what makes an amazing blog post?
The content, naturally. There are few things that make a blogger happier than publishing a fantastic post that her readers enjoy, comment on and share with everyone in their community.
Of course, a great blog post can also mean content that you share that’s not necessarily your own, as I am about to do right now – that offers value to the reader.
Here’s an infographic that describes what makes an amazing blog post.
Notice how the emphasis is on choosing a topic where your readers are active, and how it can be original (your own) as well as curated content. Good grammar is attractive, obviously. So is being consistent with your blog elements to build your brand and a sense of familiarity for your reader.

Good solid advice!
That was a good read, right?
Did you learn something new?
Ok, next on the agenda…
We all know that the reading habit makes us better writers. So here, then, is your writing prompt for this week:
Post a book review on your blog
…and add your post to the linky below.
In your book review, include a synopsis leaving out spoiler alerts if it is a mystery. Talk about the characters, what you liked, what you did not like and what you expected. Rate the book. And yes, it can be any type of book…fiction, non-fiction, poetry and any genre.
Looking forward to reading your reviews and some book recommendations!
P.S.: Stay tuned for the 55 on Friday prompt on July 25!
