Did you realize that September 23rd (yes, today) is day #1 of the last 100 days of 2013. What are you doing to challenge yourself to write more and write better in these 100 days?
“Exercise the writing muscle every day, even if it is only a letter, notes, a title list, a character sketch, a journal entry. Writers are like dancers, like athletes. Without that exercise, the muscles seize up.” ― Jane Yolen
Here are some challenges you might want to consider:
A 100 Day Writing Challenge to Finish 2013 Strong! The lovely Julie Isaac has created this. She has some great suggestions to make it work and has included a 100 Day Writing Challenge Tracking Sheet. I’m planning to undertake this, but not on my blog/s.
The Ultimate Blog Challenge – 31 Days of Blogging in October 2013. Remember we did this challenge on Write Tribe in July? You can sign up for another 31 Days on the UBC website and interact with participants on the Facebook group. This time, I will not be doing the month-long linky posts on Write Tribe. But if you need any assistance, do ask.
31 Days in 2013 – This seems like a very interesting challenge. People pledge to work on a particular aspect of their lives for 31 Days and blog about it through the month of October.
So what are you waiting for, dear readers? Sign up and challenge yourself to write!
