Wasn’t yesterday one big festival of blog love? So many wonderful blogs and bloggers out there – I’ve been busy bookmarking the ones I’d like to look at more closely!
A couple of requests and an announcement before we move on to Day 3.
1. Please remove CAPTCHA from your blogs. If you have it, you are not preventing spam, but turning away genuine bloggers too. Moderate your comments, instead.
2. Get those sharing buttons up and prominent on your blog. Add your twitter handle to your ‘share on twitter’ button. You would like to know who is tweeting your posts and acknowledge them, wouldn’t you?
The announcement from Richa Singh Agarwal (@richa_singh): Last week saw the birth of #blogchatter on Twitter – a platform to bring readers, bloggers and even those completely alien to the idea of blogging together. Blogging and writing need constant engagement of readers and their input/feedback is a must. So join us every Tuesday at 9 pm IST on #blogchatter – an hour and six questions – discussing blogging threadbare!
I must add that we had loads of fun on our first #blogchatter last Tuesday.
Day 3 now and I’m sure you’re all set to link your Free Write today. That was easy, wasn’t it?
Day 4 (March 5th) we like you to do a book review or discuss a book you love in detail. Just last week, our friend, Claire McAlpine, did a wonderful series here called ‘How to Do a Book Review and Why Anyone Can Do It‘. I’m sure that will help us to write better reviews. Also, if you have a book review due as part our Books For Review programme, now is a good time to complete it! 😉
Link up now and comment and share!
